The pet trade is not subject to the obligation to register. Anyone who commercially acquires, processes or brings into circulation animals or plants of specially protected species must keep a record book with daily entries.
Anyone keeping animals of dangerous species (poisonous snakes, poisonous spiders, giant snakes, etc.) in Bremen must apply for a permit to keep dangerous animals at the Bremen Public Order Office.
