Application for admission to a vocational high school

The Berufsoberschule is a one-year course of education in grade 13, which takes place in full-time form and is offered in the municipality of Bremen in the training fields of

• - Technology
• - Economy and administration
• - Health and Social Services
• - Design

is offered.

Upon passing the final examination, you will be awarded the "Fachgebundene Hochschulreife", or the "Allgemeine Hochschulreife" (Abitur) if you can prove that you have the necessary knowledge of a second foreign language. The Fachgebundene Hochschulreife certificate entitles you to study specified courses of study at German universities. The Allgemeine Hochschulreife certificate entitles you to study all courses of study at all German colleges and universities.

Requirements

• Certificate of entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences and
• Proof of completed vocational training relevant to the field of training
  a) at least two years of vocational training in a training occupation recognized or equivalently regulated under the Vocational Training Act or Crafts Code or in a corresponding training occupation in public administration or
  b) corresponding training as a civil servant or
  c) vocational training under state law with a state final examination.

or

• relevant professional experience of at least five years in a training occupation recognized or equivalently regulated under the Vocational Training Act or the Crafts Code or in a corresponding training occupation in public administration or in an occupation regulated under state law.
