Apply for monthly payment of social compensation to orphans




    	    

		    
Orphans of a person who has died as a result of an injury can receive a monthly compensation payment under certain conditions. You can find out more here.

If one parent has died as a result of a harmful event for which the state community bears special responsibility, you can receive a monthly compensation payment of EUR 423 as a half-orphan. 

If both parents have died as a result of an injurious event, you can receive a monthly compensation payment of EUR 662 as an orphan. 

The monthly compensation payments are paid until you reach the age of 18. 

Under certain conditions, you can receive the monthly compensation payments up to the age of 27. 

Please note that your social compensation provider will decide whether and to what extent you receive support.

								    

									    Requirements
  • One or both parents have died as a result of a harmful event.
  • The application must be submitted to the competent institution at the place of residence.
    
 
    • Exception: In the case of vaccination damage, responsibility depends on the place of vaccination.
