Deregister broadcasting fee in the private sector


If the obligation to pay broadcasting fees no longer applies to you, you can report this or deregister online.

The obligation to pay broadcasting fees ceases as soon as you no longer occupy an apartment. This also applies if you live in an apartment as a cohabitant or other occupant and have previously paid broadcasting fees several times. Or you move into an apartment for which broadcasting fees have already been paid.

Requirements

The obligation to pay broadcasting fees does not apply if you:

  • live in an apartment as a cohabitant or other occupant and have previously paid broadcasting fees on several occasions
  • move into an apartment for which broadcasting fees are already paid
  • are entitled to an exemption for certain social or health reasons

What documents do I need?

  • Registration certificate

    across all household members

  • Contribution number

    If you move in with someone who is already paying for the apartment, you will need their contribution number.

  • Power of attorney or power of attorney for care

    If you perform the deregistration for another person
