  • An application for decommissioning must be submitted to the registration authority. A representative (e.g. car dealer) can also be authorized in writing. The power of attorney is not bound to any particular form and can be formulated freely.
  • Tickets for processing are available at the self-check-in terminals on the lower and first floors.

Since March 01, 2007, no distinction has been made between temporary and permanent decommissioning. A vehicle has either the status "registered" or "decommissioned".
