Export (export) of plants, plant parts and plant products including fruits and seeds.
One may not export every plant or plant part from the EU to a third country. This applies in general, no matter if it is e.g. vacation souvenirs, food, removals or commercial shipments. This is to protect the environment and people from the introduction of plant pests or the spread of foreign plants.

Basic information
Before leaving/exporting to a third country, one should inform oneself in principle which plants may be moved. It may be that the transport of plants is prohibited in principle or permitted under certain conditions, e.g. after an official inspection by a phytosanitary inspector and accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate (PGZ).
