Establishments of craft trades subject to licensing are recorded in the register of craft trades, those of craft trades not subject to licensing or craft trades similar to craft trades in the register of owners of an establishment of a craft trade not subject to licensing or a craft trade similar to craft trades. The Chambers of Crafts are responsible for maintaining both registers at the regional level.

The registers kept by the Chambers of Skilled Crafts and Small Businesses contain data on the owners of the businesses. If the business owner is a partnership or corporation, certain data on the partners and authorized representatives are also recorded. The Chamber of Skilled Crafts and Small Businesses must be notified if new partners join or old partners leave a registered company. The same applies to a change in the persons authorized to represent the company, for example, if there is a change in the management of a limited liability company.

Requirements

• Business registered with a Chamber of Crafts in the Register of Crafts or in the Register of Owners of a Business in an Admission-Free Craft or a Craft-Similar Trade
• The following must be notified
  
  • Entry of new shareholders or partners or departure of old shareholders or partners, or
  • change of persons authorized to represent a company (e.g. change of management of a limited liability company).
