Get pilot license in Bremen

To obtain a pilot license, you must complete pilot training, which must take place in a flight school (training organization) for pilots. The training consists of a theoretical and a practical part. Each part concludes with an examination before the authority.

Please note that the complete documentation and processing of your training goes through your flight school and only they can register you.

The Bremen Aviation Authority is the responsible body for flight students who complete their pilot training at a flight school approved by the Bremen Aviation Authority.

Your flight school will accompany you throughout the entire application process. It will also take care of the complete documentation and processing of your pilot training. This also includes determining your readiness for the exam and registering for the exam with the responsible aviation authority.

The theoretical examination takes place at the responsible aviation authority and requires registration by the training manager of your flight school.

The practical examination is taken by an examiner of the responsible aviation authority or a commissioned examiner and must also be applied for in advance by the training manager of your flight school. The practical examination takes place on the training aircraft.
