pay a fine / Bremerhaven

You got a ticket? Or should you pay a fine for an administrative offence, e.g. speeding?

The fine or penalty is an administrative measure for administrative offences.

In Bremerhaven, there are various offices that are responsible for fines and administrative offences:

  • The administrative fine office at the Citizens' and Public Order Office is the contact point for all traffic offences and for a variety of general administrative offences, such as noise protection, non-smoker protection, broadcasting fees, dog keeping, etc.
  • The fine office is also responsible for the deployment of the field staff, who among other things monitor stationary traffic and, if necessary, arrange towing measures. The payment requests left on the vehicle can be paid mobile in case of warning money by means of the printed QR code.
  • Furthermore, the fine office is responsible for the mobile speed measurement by means of measuring vehicles and the stationary measurement in the city area.

For matters which

  • Tax offices,
  • Courts
  • or other offices of the Bremerhaven administration

the body which issued the decision should be contacted.
