Pay fees when adopting abroad

What are the fees involved in adopting a child from abroad?

There are fees for conducting a suitability test by a state adoption agency and for conducting an international adoption placement procedure. The freelance international adoption agency or the central adoption office of the state youth welfare office provides information about the costs and accompanies the process.

Further costs arise in the context of the adoption of a child from abroad. These are costs for flights, accommodations, certifications, translations of certificates and suitability reports as well as for sending documents.
