Procedure

The public order service stops cyclists passing through public pedestrian zones and informs them that cycling is not permitted there. In addition, the public order service is entitled to issue warnings free of charge or for a fee, to report the offence and to take measures for general danger prevention.

The public order service can raise a warning fee in cash directly on the spot or report an administrative offence. In this case you will receive mail from the fine office.
