Procedure
The registration of the assembly can be made in person or in writing (letter, e-mail, fax).
Anyone wishing to hold a public assembly (rally, procession) in the open air must register it with the public order office at least 48 hours before the announcement in accordance with § 14 VersammlG.
Announcement of an assembly means to publish the assembly with place, time and topic, e.g. by publicizing on homepages, distributing handouts or calls in open social networks.
The following information is required for registration
- Details of the applicant
(first and last name, address, telephone number/mobile number) - Details of the assembly leader
(first and last name, address, telephone number/mobile number) - Place and time (start/end) of the meeting
- Topic of the meeting
- Information on means of assembly
(banners, loudspeakers, etc.) - Route in case of a procession
(if the assembly is moving, all affected streets and squares)
