Requesting information on a development plan


You can request information on the content of a development plan from the competent authority.

You can request information about the contents of a development plan (urban land-use plan). The authority is obliged to provide you with the requested information.

For example, a development plan specifies the following in text form for a building area,

  • how the land may be used,
  • which construction method the buildings must have,
  • what height the buildings may have.

The development plan also includes, for example

  • Plan drawing consisting of various plans and maps showing the exact spatial division of the area,
  • Reasons with, for example, details of the decisions and considerations, and
  • an environmental report with an assessment of the impact of the development plan on the environment.
