Show state of construction

At the request of the building supervisory authority, you must report the start and completion of certain construction work.

The building supervisory authority may require that it be notified of the start and completion of certain construction work. The construction work may only be continued once the building supervisory authority has approved the continuation of the construction work.

General construction supervision is an "optional provision" at the discretion of the building supervisory authority; it is to be exercised irrespective of the duration and intensity of the construction process, the type, size, difficulty and significance of the construction project and the building supervisory procedure.

In addition, construction supervision of the construction of certain building structures is mandatory with regard to the stability and fire protection certificates checked by the building authorities. As part of construction supervision, samples of construction products can also be taken from finished components for testing purposes, if necessary. The building supervisory authority may require that it be notified of the start and completion of certain construction work.

The persons responsible for monitoring must be granted access to properties and facilities, including dwellings, at all times, as well as access to the permits, approvals, test certificates, certificates of conformity, certificates, records of the testing of construction products, construction diaries and other prescribed records.
