Surviving dependants of Germans who have suffered damage to their health as a result of a criminal decision by a German state court in the territory referred to in Article 3 of the Unification Treaty (accession territory = former GDR) that was contrary to the rule of law, or who have been committed to a psychiatric institution in the former GDR and have died as a result, receive a survivor's pension in accordance with the provisions of SGB XIV.

								    

									    Requirements
One of the prerequisites for granting the benefit is that the unlawful decision has been revoked.
