Traffic update

Due to the construction works on Steubenstraße and the associated complete closure of the first railway underpass – including for pedestrians and cyclists – the Stresemannstraße Administrative Centre is not expected to be directly accessible from the Julius-Brecht-Allee stop (Line 1) until summer 2028. However, access is available via Gartenstadt Vahr, Insterburger Str.

As the local municipal police authority, the Public Order Office carries out tasks relating to the prevention of danger and is responsible for ensuring public safety. Our remit is very diverse.

The Public Order Office is divided into the following departments

1. Public Order (General Order, Weapons and Hunting, Lost Property Office)
2. Administrative Offences (Fines Office) and
3. Public Order Services (Traffic Enforcement and General Public Order Services).
