Access to the file on severely disabled persons

Procedure

As a rule, files are inspected in the office building of the Office for Care and Integration Bremen or in the branch office in Bremerhaven.

In exceptional cases, the file can also be sent to other authorities etc.

In order to avoid any inconvenience, we request that you make an appointment in advance for matters relating to your severe disability (e.g. inspection of your severe disability file), unless there is an ongoing application procedure. Otherwise, it is possible that you will have to make another appointment, as the files are stored in a central archive for organizational reasons.

If the applicant wishes to receive copies from the file, a fee must be paid per copy (see also "Fees/costs"). An invoice will be issued for this and the corresponding amount must be transferred. Once the amount has been received, the copies will be made and sent to the applicant or their authorized representative/legal representative.
