Procedure
- You apply for the grant together and submit all required documents.
- If you meet all the requirements, you will receive a preliminary grant decision.
- The reproduction facility receives a copy of the decision.
- You carry out the treatment within half a year.
- You submit the application for final approval and payment. For this purpose, please submit the invoices and proof of insurance reimbursement.
- After the documents have been checked, you will receive a notification of the amount that will be paid to you.

The measure is borne proportionally by the federal government and the state of Bremen.
The federal government supports only heterosexual married and unmarried couples. The state of Bremen also supports same-sex diverse couples in which at least one person has female reproductive organs.
If there are not enough federal funds available, you will only receive the state of Bremen's share.
