Procedure
An application for registration must be submitted to the registration authority. The application can also be submitted by a representative (e.g. car dealer) with a written power of attorney.
Appointments can be made to avoid long waiting times:

-> for Bremen-Nord: by telephone on (0421) 361-88644
Customers without an appointment are served in parallel, with priority given to customers with an appointment. Commercial registration requests will continue to be accepted without an appointment.
Reserve a license plate:
If you would like to have a preferred license plate, you must do so via the link to "Internet-based vehicle registration". You will find the link under "Further information" - Online service" - "Online vehicle registration - i-Kfz". This is the only way to generate the required PIN.
