Participating in the creation of a development plan
You can participate in the creation or amendment of a development plan.
Basic information
For example, a development plan specifies the following for a building area,
- how the land may be used,
- which construction method the buildings must have,
- what height the buildings may have.
The development plan also includes
- Plan drawing consisting of various plans and maps, if applicable, showing the exact spatial division of the area,
- Explanatory statement with, for example, details of the decisions and considerations, and
- Environmental report with an assessment of the impact of the development plan on the environment.
As a citizen or company, you have the right to participate in
- the creation or amendment of a development plan or
- of an urban land-use plan.
By participating, you can contribute to the planning process.
As a public authority or other public interest body, you will be asked by the responsible authority or process owner to participate and submit your comments when an impact is identified.
