Report to Bremer Stadtreinigung on 0421 361-3611 or by e-mail to info@dbs.bremen.de. Bremer Stadtreinigung inspects the reported bicycles and checks whether they are classified as waste. A banderole is attached to the bicycles with a request to remove the bicycles within 4 weeks. Otherwise they will be sent for recycling.

Bicycles in good working order, even if they look dirty and have been in the same place for a long time, are not considered scrap bicycles, regardless of their apparent condition.
The registered scrap bikes are removed after the deadline and reported to the police. In the event that a bike is reported stolen, the owner will be informed by the police.
