You can send the result of the determination procedure to the parent authority in the following ways
- in writing by post
- by e-mail
- via the special electronic public authority mailbox (beBPo)

As a professional caregiver, you receive a legally defined remuneration. This is paid by the person you are looking after. If the person being cared for becomes destitute, you will receive the remuneration from the state treasury.
After successful registration with the competent district court, you must apply for an assessment of the remuneration yourself.
The amount of the remuneration is based on the provisions of the Guardianship and Caregiver Remuneration Act (VBVG). In addition, the amount of the monthly lump sum depends on
- Your professional qualification,
- the duration of the care provided,
- the habitual residence of the person receiving care and
- the financial status of the person receiving care
