  • The mark "B" can be applied for by ticking it off in the initial or new application.

  • Yes, severely disabled people, with the characteristic signs "G" or "Gl", can receive a 50% reduction in motor vehicle tax. This is only possible if the free public transport (nationwide) is not used.

    Exception: If the sign "aG" is recognized, one can use both the public transport and the motor vehicle tax reduction.

    The motor vehicle tax reduction is noted by the customs authority on the supplementary sheet issued by the AVIB.

    In case of later use of the token for local public transport, the supplementary sheet for the motor vehicle tax reduction must be presented to the AVIB invalidated by the customs authority.

  • Yes, the paid token can be returned at any time. After return, the vehicle tax reduction can be claimed if desired.

  • Yes, provided that the token is still valid for more than 6 months, a refund can be made for half of the amount paid. If the token is returned before the start of the validity period, the full amount can be refunded. Other refund options are not possible.

  • Yes, provided that the token is due to the recognized sign "H", "Bl" or "Tbl". A token which is issued free of charge on the basis of social assistance can only be applied for on presentation of the current social assistance certificate. In the case of a token that is subject to a charge, the token will be issued automatically after receipt of the money.
