Training at a technical college is an advanced training program that prepares you to take on tasks at the middle management level in companies. Completion of vocational school training entitles you to enter a course of study at a university.

The following degrees can be obtained at a specialized school:

  • State-certified educator at a vocational school for social pedagogy
  • State-certified business economist (Betriebswirtin / Staatlich geprüfter Betriebswirtin), specializing in personal services at a technical school for personal services
  • State-certified nurse for curative education at a specialized school for curative education
  • State-certified technician at a technical school for technology

The training usually takes place in full-time form. Some technical schools also offer part-time training.

The training period is two years in full-time form and is correspondingly longer in part-time form.
