Procedure

            			
Residence registration proceeds in the following 4 phases: 


  1. You provide the information about your new residence. Then we send you a code by mail to your new address.
  2. You use the code to confirm your move-in. You simply enter it into the online service.
  3. Your electronic registration confirmation is ready in the online service and you update the address stored on your ID card. A sticker for your ID card will then be sent.
  4. The new address sticker will arrive by mail. All you have to do is stick it on your ID card. Everything is now up to date.
